    International Health Operations Patients Education and empowerment is a non-profit organization established to empower youth, women children in the underprivileged communities in the rural parts nationally and internationally. Our main goal is to reach individuals and empower them to take charge of their Health, Education and leadership skills. Education & Empowerment is located in Lakeland, Florida. This organization primarily operates in the Social Services for the Handicapped business / industry within the Social Services sector. This organization has been operating for approximately 9 years.

      Without an education, these girls will often marry and have children at a young age, work in unpaid or low paying positions, and rely on their husbands or families for economic support. Without an education, their futures and their families’ futures are limited. Education is the key to women’s empowerment. I feel empowerment through education can be one of the most amazing feelings. When reading a great book, it teaches me many things about myself and the classes I take in college. Learning something that I can apply to my everyday life is a useful tool. It teaches me things that can change my life forever or at least help me get through my day.

    Teachers are both controlling agents and controlled subjects, in any educational system. Educational research has approached this dual role from a variety of practical and theoretical angles, the most notable perhaps being the perspective of teacher autonomy as it is negotiated between, simply speaking, structure and agency.
